Wisconsin DOT won $31.8 million in FY2022 CRISI funding to add intercity passenger rail on the TCMC corridor

The Federal Railroad Administration awarded $31,800,000 to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in FY2022 CRISI funding to add intercity passenger rail service on the Twin Cities-Milwaukee-Chicago (TCMC) corridor, integrating with the existing Amtrak Empire Builder long-distance service and the existing intercity Hiawatha service.

Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis won $28.8 million in FY2022 CRISI funding for bridge rehabilitation

The Federal Railroad Administration awarded $28,790,947 to the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis in FY2022 CRISI funding to rehabilitate a bridge to a state of good repair, meant to increase the efficiency of freight and passenger rail operations on the regional and national rail network and reduce operations and maintenance costs.
