Alaska's Knik Arm toll bridge: $93.6M awarded in one year alone, never built
A three-lane toll bridge connecting Anchorage and the Mat-Su Borough was budgeted at $93.6 million in federal receipts for a single fiscal year. Two gubernatorial vetoes later, the project is dormant.
